TOP10 is a GNU/Linux-based Go-Kart simulator software.
One of the highlights of TOP10 is its stunning 3D graphics, which are powered by OpenGL (note that a 3D accelerator is required). You can choose to play in single-player mode and race against the clock, or simply enjoy the stereo sounds and watch replays of previous races.
If you're feeling creative, you can even use TOP10's track editor to design your own race courses. And with support for multiple input devices (keyboard, joystick, driving wheel, and joypad), you can find the control method that works best for you.
To run TOP10, you'll need a number of dependencies, including SDL 1.2, SDL_image 1.2.0, PLIB 1.8.3, lib3ds1.2.0, OpenGL and GLU, gcc 3.3.4 (or later), and automake 1.7 (or later).
The latest version of TOP10 comes with some exciting updates, including a brand new track editor using Qt and two additional tracks (Laval and MaisonBlanche). If you're a fan of Go-Kart racing, TOP10 is definitely worth a look.
