TundraDraw is a software application that works across different platforms and enables users to create ANSI/ASCII drawings.
Firstly, TundraDraw provides block commands that come in handy in performing tasks such as Move, Copy, Paste, Erase, Flip x/y, and various types of Fills. This program also offers multi-user network draw, which includes the capability to undo/redo over network connections.
Users will appreciate the VGA/SVGA preview window which enhances their experience of the software. Moreover, the 24-bit color ANSi mode is one of its most inviting features.
However, there are a few known issues to be aware of. For instance, it is recommended to avoid using smiley face characters when using 24-bit mode as it might cause the file to save incorrectly under certain conditions. Also, it is advisable to use the spacebar or backspace instead of blank characters from the F-keys.
The recent release of the software has rectified some bugs, such as [TND-11], which was a Charset encoding issue when saving/loading files in a UTF8 environment. Other bug fixes included the page up/page down bug, as well as the alt key stuck down bug on Fedora. Several issues relating to loading and saving have also been fixed.
Apart from these bug fixes, this version has a new feature to boast about: a full ASCII character set that is now fully implemented and available. The user manual has also had content added to all sections of the software.
Overall, TundraDraw is a fantastic software with many useful features for those interested in the art of ASCII/ANSI drawing. It is highly recommended for both beginners and professionals in this field. With its multi-platform functionality, TundraDraw is undoubtedly one of the best drawing programs in the market.
