VideoGuide is a video library content management system.
The latest update comes equipped with a new feature in the IMDB::Film module. With this option, you can retrieve a list of official sites of specified movies. This comes in handy, especially for movie reviews. Additionally, the caching mechanism has been enhanced, and a new option has been added to clear cached data. Instead of removing cache directories manually, you can now pass clear_cache => 1 in the object constructor to clear the cache.
To install the module, you can follow the easy steps below:
perl Makefile.PL
make
make test
make install
If you want to install the module in a specific path, use the command below:
perl Makefile.PL PREFIX=/path/to/your/lib
To install the module in your home directory, use the following:
perl Makefile.PL PREFIX=YOU_HOME/path/to/your/lib
Alternatively, you can also install the module via the CPAN shell by using the command:
> perl -MCPAN -e shell
cpan> install IMDB::Film
or through the 'cpan' command:
> cpan install IMDB::Film
This release comes with a few important bug fixes, including fixing the full plot test of a movie and the movie trivia test. Overall, VideoGuide is a reliable software solution for managing video libraries with ease.
