WeatherClock is an enhanced Clock screenlet that includes hourly weather forecast support from weather.com.
One notable aspect of this software is that it is a Screenlets widget application, which can be launched, operated, and configured in the widget engine. The widget engine powering WeatherClock is designed to run efficiently on X11-based compositing window managers like Compiz. The screenlets were exclusively scripted in Python and drawn in SVG until version 0.0.14 when support for web widgets was added.
The new updates in this release are quite impressive. Now, you can enjoy limited support for the LiquidWeather PNG icons, provided they are 120x120. Additionally, you will also find a new default Samurize icon theme, which makes it easier to switch between PNG and SVG icon themes. This software is fantastic and guarantees a seamless experience for all users. Overall, WeatherClock is a must-have widget that will make your desktop time and weather display more accessible and enjoyable.
