WebSecure4Linux is a Linux-compatible client that enables users to access Freedom WebSecure, a secure web browsing platform.
The client currently supports HTTP on all Linux versions, while HTTPS is supported under Linux 2.4. However, WebSecure4Linux is not feature-complete, and it is slow. It is written in Perl and forks for each web connection.
Limitations of WebSecure4Linux include its lack of feature completeness. Among other things, it doesn't manage cookies. Additionally, it does not offer speedy performance. It is written in Perl and forks for each web connection, which leads to a decline in performance. Furthermore, it is not supported except on the SourceForge site. If the client breaks, you will have to deal with it on your own.
