Wicket Web Beans is a component toolkit compatible with Apache Wicket to manage POJOs while displaying and editing them, following the JavaBeans specifications.
Though WWB does not enforce a specific method of implementation, it makes it convenient to create bean-based forms by keeping the focus on the model (beans), and the user interface is handled by WWB. Once the fields within a form are changed, they are dynamically sent back to the server-side bean, which eliminates the typical form submit cycle. Subsequently, this feature makes WWB similar to a rich client application, as opposed to a standard forms-based application.
For usage, WWB requires Wicket. The recent production release of WWB has major inclusions such as Databinder integration finalization and Wicket 1.3.0 (final) support. Overall, if you need to display POJOs and want to reduce the extra work required, WWB is a great tool to use.
