Wm6x6 is a straightforward DockApp launcher for WindowMaker. It features a menu button, resembling a start menu, and is simple to use and configure.
Another great feature is that wm6x6 can use a variety of file formats such as XPP, GIF, TIFF, PNG, etc. This makes it easy for you to personalize your software icons any way you like. Additionally, you can add comments/tooltips for each icon, which can be useful when you need to remember what a specific icon does.
However, it's important to note that while wm6x6 is not yet GUI-configurable, you can still configure it using the file-based method. Also, there are unfortunately no DOCs available currently, but the app is simple enough that most people should be able to use it without any difficulties.
In terms of usability, it's a breeze to use wm6x6. Simply click on the button to launch an application. You can select one of the six menus by clicking on one of the rectangular buttons or by using the mouse wheel. If available, wm6x6 will also pop up a description for the button under the mouse pointer.
Overall, for those who desire a straightforward software launcher, wm6x6 is an excellent choice that performs its function well.
