WMMon-SMP is a dual-processor compatible version of WMMon software, designed by dissecting and reassembling the original to make it suitable for use with two processors.
Another program that you may want to try is WMMon+SMP. This is a hack of WMMon 1.0beta2 and is designed to show the approximate CPU usage on dual processor systems. The program also graphs the load average of the last 15 minutes or so. Some of the features provided by WMMon+SMP include the realtime CPU 'stress' meter, the average system load (like xload & wmavgload), and an average system load graphic that autoscales.
It is important to note that WMMon+SMP does not provide all the features of the original WMMon unless mentioned above. Additionally, it is unlikely to work on a single-processor system since two other system monitoring screens have been removed.
To use WMMon-SMP or WMMon+SMP, you will need a dual processor system with an SMP kernel that has been compiled and is in use. To install the program, follow these simple steps: 1) Extract the wmmon+smp.tar.gz file using the command % tar -zxvf wmmon+smp.tar.gz; 2) Navigate to the wmmon.app/wmmon directory using the command % cd wmmon.app/wmmon; 3) Build the program using the command % make; 4) Copy the 'wmmon' file somewhere in your $PATH like /usr/local/bin; and 5) Launch the program using the command % wmmon & (or wmmon -h for help).
