WMTosh is a software applet designed to monitor ACPI on Toshiba laptops. It provides comprehensive real-time monitoring, allowing users to maintain the performance and health of their devices accurately.
But WMTosh is more than just a monitoring tool - it also gives you limited control over these functions, as well as the ability to adjust LCD brightness. And while it's currently limited to Linux, it's worth noting that this small dockapp was written back in 2003, when ACPI-aware DockApps were few and far between.
The app is based on the WMiFS project, with a big shoutout to its authors for their contributions. The first version of WMTosh offered support for ACPI performance and battery objects, as well as Toshiba fan and brightness settings. So if you're a Linux-loving Toshiba owner, give WMTosh a try and see how it can improve your user experience.
