YAPAB is a software that uses PostgreSQL to create a system for collecting address entries.
The idea for YAPAB came from a need to gather all address entries that had been lost somewhere in books at work, home or in other address programs. With YAPAB, this need has been met, and it has been improved to offer users a better experience.
Some key features of YAPAB include multi-language support that adheres to W3C standards, multi-user support that requires a YAPAB account, adjustable permissions for every account, instant messaging support, logging functions, database entry and account specifications listing, import and export functions for other address book program formats, group actions for collecting entries, platform independence, and database independence (although PostgreSQL is recommended).
The latest YAPAB release is the second beta version and has been tested by users. It is encouraged for 0.1b users to upgrade, whereas urgent record keeping would not be recommended at this time. YAPAB functions seamlessly on any browser and operating system.
