YAWMPPP simplifies ISP hookup by serving as a WindowMaker dock application that functions as a pppd frontend.
YAWMPPP boasts several key features, including the ability to work with Linux, NetBSD, and FreeBSD. It also displays connection time, supports multiple ISP entries with a maximum of 40, and provides an LED display showing both RX/TX (send/receive) as well as status (on, dialing, off). Additionally, it includes a PPP load graph and speed indicator, manages DNS servers automatically (on Linux systems), and provides easy GUI dialup entry setup.
A connection log with a handy GUI log viewer is also included. And of course, this release includes several bug fixes (minor ones, specifically). Overall, YAWMPPP is an excellent option for those looking to make ISP hookup as easy and straightforward as possible.
