Ymusk is a software application designed to enable users to access and control a Mush server using a Perl/Tk client.
The latest version of Ymusk has added mouse wheel support, three types of text scrolling, and a multitude of text filters, including pig latin and rot13. The client also has a robust logging function and supports inline commands which can be customized by users who know Perl.
The configuration file bundles worlds definitions, setting of colors, margin or paragraph spacing, and more. Ymusk also offers an ICQ-like GUI to manage pages, the possibility to call Perl directly from the input window, and a separated view of channel discussions, pages, game messages, and IC text with multi-output screens.
Ymusk is perfect for multi-taskers with multi-input boxes, a clock to see how much time is expended on mush, spell-checking (for Un*x platforms only), and alarms. The client has automatic warnings for lost connections and forms for users to send @mail, pages, and long messages, making it ideal for bboard posting and other tasks.
Overall, Ymusk is a reliable and useful mush client that caters to the needs of both beginners and experienced users.
