Amarok data can be displayed on an LCD screen using software.
Moreover, Amarok_DCOP commands are also at your disposal, which are designed to retrieve data from the Amarok engine. Installing the script is a walk in the park. You don't even need to extract the .tar file. Just launch Amarok, select 'Tools' -> 'Script Manager' from the menu bar, then 'Install Script', and locate the saved .tar.gz file, followed by clicking the 'Open' button. Once installed, the script should be visible in the list of installed scripts.
For users who are impatient, the script also comes with a few pre-set XML configuration files for standard sizes of LC display. If your display is among these, rename the relevant file to Amarok_XML_LCD.xml, and start up the script. Upon starting, you will be greeted with the start screen, which will transition to one of the other state screens depending on the current state of the Amarok player (e.g. the playing screen if Amarok is playing a track).
For those who are not content with the pre-configured XML files, it is suggested to edit your own XML configuration file. You can refer to the help file, Amarok_XML_LCD.html, for information on setting up screens. Overall, Amarok_XML_LCD provides a useful tool for those who own an LCD screen and want to display relevant information from Amarok.
