Brownstone is a nature-inspired KDE theme that features a pale color scheme, drawing inspiration from the Green Leaf design. It offers a fresh look and a serene ambiance, bringing a touch of nature to your digital workspace.
The theme uses Domino as the style (Kubuntu package), Crystal as the window decoration, a soft green wallpaper, and the Ekisho_project icon set. One change made to the icon set configuration is replacing the default "folder" icon with "folder_grey" in the filesystems under inode>folder in control centre. The default icon was too bright and didn't fit well with the desired effect. This change can be seen in the first screenshot. However, the brighter icon still appears in the Quick file menu, and the location of the configuration option to correct this is unknown.
Overall, it's uncertain how effective the theme is at achieving the goal of creating a soothing environment reminiscent of grey stone on brown earth with greenery. Regardless, it's a unique and refreshing theme that could use some feedback from users. The bulk of the files are available in kde-look, with the creator only providing the config file for domino.
