The software monitors CPU and memory load of a system.
The liquid inside the vial acts as an indicator for memory usage. The water level determines how much of the memory is in use. Additionally, the color of the liquid conveys the amount of swap space utilized, with watery blue denoting none and angry red meaning all.
The CPU load of the system is represented by bubbles that float through the liquid. Users can easily distinguish high or low loads based on the number of bubbles in the vial at any given time.
Further, users are notified of unread emails through a message in a bottle that falls into the water of the vial, making it a highly customizable option. Overall, Bubbling Load Monitor provides a simple yet effective way of monitoring system usage, making it highly recommended for most users.
