Ensure efficient management of application build releases while using versioned products under Subversion with our software.
Releasing an application with BundleMan can be broken down into several steps, including tagging the source repository, managing the version of each product, managing CHANGELOG, creating a source package archive and giving ways to maintain a release without blocking the trunk development.
To get started with BundleMan, you can create a sandbox environment and use the unit test environment to try out some of the features. After extracting the archive, you will find a temporary folder that contains the svn folder, which houses the svn sandbox repository, as well as a co folder containing working copies of an application.
For example, co/app is a trunk bundle with two empty products, foo and bar. You can test some of the BundleMan commands from here, such as bm-bundle -v, and then try to release the app by following the use case provided.
Overall, BundleMan is an intuitive and helpful software tool that makes it easy to manage the release of application builds on versioned products under subversion. With its user-friendly interface and comprehensive set of features, BundleMan is a must-have for any developer looking to streamline their software release cycle.
