Initially, a moo was established as a text-oriented virtual reality platform that was primarily used for teaching purposes over the internet. Later, the LambdaMoo team acquired the source code and improved it, turning it into an almost full VR environment. The EmeraldMoo project is based on the LambdaMoo source code, with the objective of making it a fun-packed full virtual reality environment, rather than just a text one. Additionally, it is intended to be more playable, particularly for those with an inclination towards RPG-style games.
This release of EmeraldMoo comes with a variety of exciting new features. There have been changes in assorted include files to add autoconf2 support. Additionally, the bjj patch in code_gen.c has removed a spurious EXPR_INDEX case left over from before x[$]. Other bjj patches include execute.c, utils.c, execute.h, and timers.c, which have all finally made free_activation() take a pointer. Furthermore, the ree cancelled timers with free_timer() instead of free feature has also been added in the timers.c bjj patch.
