The GIMP Circle Brushes software offers circular brushes designed as "rubber stamps" for use within GIMP.
As the developer points out, circle brushes are the third brush collection for use in the GIMP. The convenience of having these brushes ready to use for a range of sizes speaks for itself. It makes it easy for those who need to work with circle brushstrokes to access a wide range of options quickly.
The developer even expressed their frustration with the GIMP software regarding its Make a circular selection, fill it black, shrink it, fill it white technique, which can be a bit cumbersome. With GIMP circle brushes, the user can "rubber stamp" a pre-made circle brush wherever needed. These brushes were relatively easy to create, but it was necessary to add a bit of extra feathering and 45-degree rotations to get nice circles in all the sizes.
Lastly, to install the plugin, users simply have to place the brush files in the GIMP brushes folder, either refresh the brushes, or restart the GIMP. They can be placed in the system-wide folder and the local brushes folder, with specific instructions given for that. For those who use GIMP frequently and want faster access to circle brushes, GIMP circle brushes are a must-have.
