Kscan2pdf is a user-friendly software designed for KDE/Kommander that helps to efficiently scan multiple pages of documents through a straightforward graphical interface.
Initially, this app was created to help speed up some work-related tasks, but the developer has decided to release it for everyone who might find it useful. This is the first release, and there will be many more to come as the developer plans to add new options and features in the near future. So, if you have any suggestions or feedback, don't hesitate to let them know.
To use Kscan2pdf, you'll need to have the following requirements installed: KDE, Kommander, scanimage (part of the SANE packages), convert (part of ImageMagick packages), ps2pdf13 (part of GhostScript packages), and a Scanner with ADF support by SANE.
Once you have everything installed, usage is simple. Just execute the command $kmdr-executer Kscan2pdf-v0.1.kmdr, and you're good to go.
This latest release has made some important changes as well. The scanimage batch count now begins at 10, so documents over nine pages won't be created out of order. With these updates and features, it's clear that Kscan2pdf is on its way to becoming the go-to tool for anyone who needs to scan and convert multiple documents quickly and easily.
