Ktvschedule is a KDE 3-based software that acts as a front-end for xmltv. It enables users to manage and schedule their TV programming in a user-friendly way.
The upgrade in this release includes several new additions such as a system tray, credits of TV shows that display the details of actors, guests, and producers, and a link to IMDb for each actor in the menu. Additionally, the software also supports translations in German (full), French (partial), and Greek (zero).
The latest version also allows the users to choose the desired details they want to display. The software no longer has any issues with grabber configuration as it takes into account the differences between each tv_grab. The tray icon now displays current shows, and the software also has added support for nxtvepg. Users can update this feature by themselves.
The upgraded ktvschedule software also includes several improvements such as control of row heights, addition of a horizontal bar at the current time, and an upgraded tv_grab configuration menu.
Apart from these new additions and improvements, the latest version also includes several bug fixes. The software has probably fixed the last issue related to sorting and icons in function of the different grabbers. The issue where the show text was getting cut if it was just two lines long or less than ten minutes long, has also been rectified. Additionally, Tv_Grab now quits after ktvschedule quits. The minimum size of the ComboBox in case of an empty combolist has been fixed, and the Manage Channel button is disabled while refreshing the guide.
Overall, the latest version of ktvschedule software comes with several new additions and improvements that make it a must-have software for users who want to keep track of TV program listings.
