I recently tried out a shortcut launcher and organizer software that has been a game changer for me. It has saved me so much time when using my computer and removed all the clutter from my desktop. Additionally, it has sped up my daily and repetitive tasks in a way that I could never have imagined.
One thing that I loved about this software is that it comes with some incredibly useful add-ons. The first is the Shutdown NOW! tool, which enables you to quickly turn off, restart, log off, and perform other system functions. The second is Cleanup NOW!, which removes any evidence of your work or internet activities. Last, but not least, there's RevealPassword NOW!, which recovers passwords hidden behind those pesky rows of asterisks.
The software also has some amazing new features. Multiple-selection mode allows you to select multiple shortcuts to launch, copy, drag, or delete them with ease. Tabs can be defined in the left, right, top, and bottom sides of the window and can be easily hidden to provide more room for shortcuts. A quick-search box has been added for quickly locating a specific shortcut or group of shortcuts.
To make things even easier, you can drag and drop shortcuts directly onto any of the defined tabs, other applications, or the Windows Desktop/Explorer. The software also has the ability to dock the window to any screen edge, and the user can control the window animation speed. Additionally, you can manually resize the window by simply dragging its borders.
There's even an autoresize command that quickly resizes the program window according to the current screen resolution and the amount of shortcuts. All or specific tabs can be assigned icons for better location upon launch, and each tab remembers the settings for the associated view. A new list mode has been added for better reading of shortcuts with long names, which is especially suitable for document shortcuts and favorite URLs.
The software even has a user-defined path for saving the shortcuts and tab settings. Lastly, it has full support for multiple monitors, virtual screen, and Windows XP themes. Overall, I can't recommend this software enough. It has been a complete game changer for me and has saved me so much time and hassle.
