The Poor man's Financial Calculator is a simple calculator software that supports both financial and basic mathematical operations. It is small and easy to use.
The calculator also features yellow fields that serve as operands for arithmetic operations. After performing these operations, the results are displayed in the blue field. Additionally, the BEGIN button can be enabled for financial operations where the first payment is made at the beginning of the period. This feature is particularly crucial for accurate computations.
Another useful feature on this applet is the FPC button. When enabled, the Fractionary part of the Period ("n") will also be calculated using Compound interest. On the other hand, if the FPC button is disabled, the fractionary part will use simple (linear) interest, which gives slightly higher interest values.
This latest version of the applet comes with significant updates. The code and messages have been translated into English, making it more accessible to a broader audience. Additionally, the license has changed to the LGPL, which offers more flexibility for developers. Overall, if you need a reliable financial calculator for your business or personal needs, the Poor man's Financial Calculator project is an excellent choice.
