Postoffice is a spam-blocking SMTP mail server and client designed for simplicity.
Postoffice goes further to support vm-pop3d-style virtual domains, enabling the delivery of mail accounts within these domains. Moreover, with the support of AUTH LOGIN, Postoffice allows people inside virtual domains to use it as a mail forwarder when replying to mail.
In terms of ease of use, Postoffice provides a user-friendly command line interface that accepts many of the same options that are passed to sendmail. Plus, it comes with a pack of sendmail compatible aliases, including runq, mailq, newaliases, and sendmail.
The recent release of Postoffice ensures that it is now easier to compile without complaints, especially if CC="gcc -Wall". There are no new features in this release, but it guarantees a better user experience. Overall, Postoffice is the ideal mailing software for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient mailing system with spam blocking capabilities.
