REDLisp is a Lisp dialect interpreter, currently functioning only as an interpreter.
Looking into the future, the addition of macros, classes, multiplatform sockets, and threads are all in the works, which will greatly improve the functionality of REDLisp. While it's not meant to replace any current Common Lisp implementations, it is a passion project of a college student.
Before diving in, be sure to check the requirements. GNU Readline is necessary (though it can be disabled upon compiling) as well as APFloat (included in the linux/ or win32/ directory). Each module requires different things (such as GTK for the GTK module and SDL and SDL_mixer for the Audio module).
Overall, the newest snapshot from the SVN repository shows some exciting improvements. Fixes to Quit, toInt, slice, and variable assignment make for a smoother experience. Plus, the addition of an assoc function and further integration with CrissCross are great strides forward. Give REDLisp a try if you're interested in expanding your Lisp coding abilities.
