SLAX Boot CD enables SLAX to be booted from USB devices on computers that cannot natively boot from USB.
In the latest release, SLAX Boot CD has introduced new and improved features such as the addition of KDE 3.5.4 with Slackware 11 fixes for media:/ URL in Konqueror. Additionally, the probeusb parameter now includes a sleep delay of delay_use+1 seconds to wait for USB devices, with a default of 6 seconds.
Moreover, the previously missing fuse libraries have been fixed, and the newest beta version of NTFS-3g has been added, allowing for NTFS writing, which we hope will be a useful addition. Overall, these updates significantly enhance the functionality of SLAX Boot CD and make it a reliable software for booting SLAX.
