Sniffit software detects TCP, UDP and ICMP packets through packet sniffing technology.
My exploration led me to work on Spoofing, resulting in two texts on Non-Blind and Blind spoofing, a C toolkit for spoofing programs, Spoofit, and a demo program called Eriu that demonstrated a connection hijack. While I had plans to spoof rooting info to create my own routes, unfortunately, my thesis started, and I never found the time to work on this project.
One of the last things I did on spoofing was to create a fun application that raced the DNS server with false responses. This created confusion among innocent surfers at HIP 97. Sniffit has an array of new releases, including the use of Autoconf, upgrading of Libpcap to 0.3, added packet generation, added UDP selectivity, and added plugins. If you're looking for a packet sniffer, Sniffit is an excellent option with exceptional features.
