The SSXML software is a straightforward and compact XML parser.
To carry out the SSXML test program, all you need to do is to type "make" to build it and then to run the test program, type "testdom intest.xml outfile.xml". It is important to note, however, that although the code should parse any proper XML file, it may crash if the file is malformed.
This code was developed by the creator due to the need for a small XML parser for reading configuration files and other similar tasks. The developer found that all other available XML parsers were either too big or too buggy, hence the creation of SSXML.
As of now, the developer is still working on the code and intends to update it frequently. It is important to note that the developer has no intention of supporting the w3 requirements for XML parsers as the required functionality is more than what is necessary for their intended purpose. Although the search functionality is a bit weird presently, the developer plans to fix it eventually.
