WebTTS is a PERL5 based trouble ticketing software specifically made for enterprises to keep track of network issues.
The traditional tracking system used by businesses is often either custom-written, non-free, or has major installation issues that make it almost impossible to function as expected. WebTTS requires PERL5, DBI 1.12 or higher, the MySQL Driver, Mail::Sendmail 0.77 or higher (only if you want to send eMails), and DB_File (only to import any older pre-3.0 databases). I have tested this software with MySQL Database Server (3.22.xx).
This software has many new features that have recently been added. These include changing from DB_File to DBI/DBD MySQL, creating a Data Abstraction Layer that makes the porting of a database to another relative database quite easy, switching from piping to sendmail to Mail::Sendmail so that the software can use SMTP servers, and the addition of an $all variable for better ticket tracking.
In conclusion, WebTTS is an excellent software that is ideal for businesses that require a trouble ticketing system for effective tracking of network-related problems, services or products. Its new updates and features make it a must-have for businesses, and I highly recommend it.
