MoonMap is a software tool developed in Python language, designed for customizing the Moon Raider map. It offers users the ability to modify the default map according to their own preferences.
In the Electron version of "Moon Raider", players are faced with six back-to-back levels, although they have the option of skipping the first four. An essential aspect of the game is the refuelling stage that takes place between each level. However, the level descriptions are surprisingly flexible, even for those familiar with "Scramble" type games.
With MoonMap, it is possible to design longer levels compared to the original ones and introduce enemies to stages where they would usually not appear. For example, fireballs are easily added to levels outside of level three. MoonMap's powerful utility makes it the perfect software tool for gamers looking to take their gameplay experience to the next level.
